The Heist Food Hall project transformed a 1950s U.S. Bank building, most known for a real bank heist in 2010, into a dynamic and immersive food hall destination. The design celebrated the building’s unique history by creatively repurposing original bank elements such as the vault, ATM window, and deposit boxes into new program features, alongside custom metalwork, penny flooring, and thematic artwork. The phased project also included a structural seismic upgrade, new fire sprinkler and MEP systems, re-imagined interior layout with restaurants and entertainment spaces, and a large exterior food cart pod supporting 21 vendors, and was completed between May 2023 and November 2024.
